Jim Chung

Jim Chung is now a part time health care provider who began his photographic career as an astrophotographer. His first book on this topic was published in 2015 and he continues to build telescopes. In 2020, his coffee table pictorial on urban wildlife in Toronto was published. He believes the key to insightful photography is to incorporate the experiences from his other walks of life into the areas of photography that he shoots. He enjoys shooting professional motorsports and tennis because he used to be an avid tennis player and is still a dedicated motorhead who has restored three classic motorcycles and maintains a classic sports car. He is looking forward to a polar bear safari in Churchill, MB this October where he can combine his night sky skills to capture the Northern Lights. You can read his blog at jimchungblog.com
