K. Ron Edwards

K. Ron Edwards is the Author of books from “Destiny’s World” a series inspired by her very first biological Grand Child, born mid-2019. She wants to leave a legacy of books and learning for her Grandchild that depicts her life as she conceptualizes her growing up. Research has shown that children learn as early as birth and that they develop lifelong values that are determined in their early years. The series will be based on positive affirmations and characteristics she believes children should be emboldened to acquire. Her goal in writing this children’s book series is to create inspiring lessons learned and lovable storylines with relatable and engaging characters that children and parents alike will enjoy reading together. Books were and still are, passports to incredible destinations full of amusement and awe and help ensure your child’s success in life by reading to and with them at a very early age.

Her debut picture book “Destiny: With My Two Mommies Who Love Me” illustrated by Tullip Studio and published by Starving Authors Press, explores the family dynamic of a little girl who has and is celebrated and treasured by her two Mommies. The Author is an ardent advocate of equal rights, sprinkled with lots of love towards the eradication of hate. There is more exciting content with “Destiny escapades” to be added over the next several months. It is the Author’s hope that children all over the world enjoy her stories and discover the marvels of reading just as she did.

Her love of reading came from some of her fondest memories as a child, where she spent long hours at the local library. This was an era where playing outdoors and longing to go to the local library was considered very entertaining yet not forced. There she would escape into new worlds and live out the lives of the characters she read about by using her imagination.

K. Ron Edwards is a Proud Veteran who was born and raised in the Midwest and has lived all over, both in the U.S and abroad. Several years ago, she relocated to the South where she currently resides and calls home.

When she isn’t writing, she of course loves spending time with her Grand Daughter, family and friends. She also enjoys fitness, along with sporting, cultural events and travel.
