Katherine Girsch

Katherine Girsch, who holds an MA in Spanish Literature from the University of Oregon, lives and writes in a renovated nineteenth century cottage in Salem, Oregon. In 2018 she self-published Coming to Terms: A Novel under the pen name K.D. Girsch. Unable to leave its characters behind, she continued their stories in TransAtlantic Ties, a collection of interconnected short fiction. In 2024, she completed My Own Heart's Song, the coming of age story of Bronx born Laura Weber. She has just completed An Intact Family, another relationship-driven story, which reintroduces characters from her first three works.
