Jalysa King

Jalysa King is a writer, and author of the new children's book When I Grow Up I Can Be Anything. Jalysa fell in love with reading, storytelling and writing as a little girl. She knew that one day she wanted to become a writer and instill the love of reading into little kids. Jalysa has a degree in Communication Studies, is the host of the Let's Talk About Representation podcast, and has written for The Huffington Post. Her hope is that everything she writes creates a sense of community and hope among her readers.
