Hi everybody in Amazon land! Just so you know, I have no qualifications for writing a book. In fact, this book would have never happened if it were not for God nudging me to do so for years. No, He didn't actually talk to me, but the information that eventually became this book continually rattled around in my head until I relented and sat down to put it in writing and I'm certain He was behind that.

There is not a lot to know about me. I'm just a regular guy who struggles along through life like anyone else. But, I found that struggling through life with Jesus is a much better way to do it than without Him. I have a wonderful wife who does a good job of putting up with me and an awesome son who is high school age. I have the privilege of working at a Christian non-profit called Feed My Starving Children that provides food for kids all over the world. I love teaching people spiritual truths from the Bible and watching how it helps their lives improve.

My hope is that this little book will open your eyes to a God who wants to be with you. Although it may sometimes feel like He is hidden, distant, or cold, God is actually highly relational, close, and loving. Come along with me as we learn why this is true.
