Arvind is an engineer and an entrepreneur, making his initial attempts to be an author.

He has a post graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

After working for many years in the corporate world, he has cofounded startups in the areas of Telecommunication and Energy Efficiency.

Though familiar with the Indian epics from childhood, the bug of writing bit him during the long Covid lockdown. The first attempt, now available on Wattpad, is “The Journey of Learning”, an adaptation of portions of Valmiki’s Ramayana.

"Purusha" book is his second attempt at writing. Unlike the Ramayana adaptation, this book is an imaginary account of the end of the universe and its new birth, loosely based on two hymns from the Rg Veda.
