Petrell Ozbay

Petrell Marie Özbay tends to churn out her best work on the back of a napkin – having written everything from speeches and scripts to toasts and tech pieces for colorful characters and global events.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, where she grew up sneak reading by moonlight, Petrell has an extensive public affairs and marketing background. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Petrell has taught writing workshops and lended her talents to fundraising for the arts and children’s organizations. She authored and published the multi-award winning Xs and Os for Gabby Ann to help children missing a parent at bedtime.

Always on call as M-O-M and in a perpetual losing battle with the laundry, she credits laughter, music and her dogs with saving her sanity. In an attempt to avoid cold weather, Petrell lives with her family in South Florida.
