Mr. Todd Michael Durgan

An accidental author and writer, Mr. Durgan is Considered by some, to be a "foremost authority" on Contact Manipulation He works to help people recognize and shares the constituents that already exist with in the system. His books and posters have now sold around the world and hang in Dojos of all styles and sizes. You may also find his bio and history in the Book "The Continuum" Vol 2, and released in 2019 the Latest Journey book, "American Kenpo's Next Generations" the third Journey book in the trilogy as well as several other Martial arts books he is featured in. Make no mistake, he is a striker and also has a vast and in depth understanding of the striking art of Kenpo with a laser focus on basics and the proper execution of those basics as the base of all else that we do.

Mr. Durgan the "Architect" and creator of the PKI (Phasic Kombatives Integrated) his newly developed system of Kenpo based Martial Arts. With a codified teaching format and methods for the integration of these elemental introductions prior to the Black belt rankings. This is designed to be more of an immersion learning process and organic in form and function where the hands on training is applied. With a sub-system of Phasic Kali~Arnis, and ground Combatives, designed and created by Mr. Durgan for the purpose of continuing the evolution of his own Kenpo system as intended and stated by SGM Ed Parker himself. The beginner needs to be a more effective combatant in a shorter period of time allowing them better opportunity and chance of survival in real combat situations. And to maintain a focus on certain areas of combat that are either ignored or passed over as less relevant by other lines and times of kenpo. While it is true that this is more principle and concept based there are specifics that are required and need to be learned for the material to fall in line with the concepts/principles of the PKI.
