Christie leads a vibrant and love-filled life. The eldest of a family of five, Christie enjoyed a down-to-earth upbringing with ample amounts of home-made bread, a cottage on an island for summer-time adventures, a love of music, nature and adventure, and wholesome family values.
She moved from Ontario to Lions Bay, BC in 1988 with her then husband and two sons. There she helped start the local café, and was the editor of the village newspaper.
She now lives with her son, Sean, and his family, including two rambunctious little grandsons. For more than ten years, Christie has helped countless people learn how to reach and maintain their health goals and she practices what she preaches! In her sixties, Christie has more energy, vitality, and presence than she did when she was in her forties! Christie is known as a super connector. She has a wide network of friends and has knack for putting people together who would benefit from knowing each other (whether it’s to fill a need for used furniture, or a potential career opportunity). She loves to travel and enjoys exploring the history and culture of foreign countries. She is also a professional singer and has shared the stage with many fine musicians for over four decades. Most of her family members are very talented musicians and one of her great joys is singing with them. Her spiritual practice has served her well for the last 20 years and it continues to be the beacon that helps her navigate her way authentically through life.
