Ingrid Hofer

Born into a family of artists, Ingrid Hofer first appeared on the local theatre stage at the age of ten. In 1999 she performed at the Vorarlberger Landestheater with Kurt Sternik and in 2009 she was engaged by the Vorarlberger Volkstheater in "Boeing Boeing". She was a singer in a punk rock band and made it to the Austrian preliminary round for the Song Contest in 2002 with the girl group "i:levenless7".

Today Ingrid is a children's book author and singer-songwriter. With her songs and stories, she wants to get you and your children to read, sing and dance. She does this quite well on YouTube: her channel currently has 60 million views!

Ingrid was awarded 1st place in the German Rock & Pop Prize in 2018 for her first children's song album and the Hubert von Goisern Culture Prize in 2022 for her children's dance DVD with sign language. For her commitment to getting children to read, sing and dance again, Ingrid received the Entrepreneur AWARD in the "Social Entrepreneurship" category in 2023.

She has made a name for herself as a composer, singer-songwriter and author.
