Charles MacInerney, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT, is one of the most accomplished yoga teachers in the U.S. He is the recipient of the Yoga Service Award from the Consul General of India, recognizing his efforts over three decades to help government, universities, businesses, hospitals, and organizations integrate yoga and meditation into the workplace.
Charles co-founded the Texas Yoga Retreat and the Living Yoga Program whose 400 graduates now teach in 45 states and 15 countries. Charles is also a professional public speaker, teaching a wide variety of topics, including Goal Setting; Peak Performance; Improving Concentration; Overcoming Anxiety; Creative Solutions for Boredom; Will Power; Balance; Mind-Body Health; and Breathing.
Past clients include: 3M, IBM, Apple, Motorola, hospitals and universities, including the University of Texas (working with faculty, students, the women’s athletic program, the departments of architecture, art, music, dance, and kinesiology). He has presented at dozens of national and international conferences, including SXSW, the Association of Yoga Therapists’ International Symposium, and the American Medical Student Association’s national conference.
