Randy Tolsma

Randy Tolsma lived the American dream. He grew up in Meridian, ID, and dreamed of becoming a race car driver from an early age.

His career started at age 9 in a go kart, and by 15 he was behind the wheel of a race car. He raced nearly every small oval across the western United States before moving to Indianapolis to race full time. He dabbled in Indy cars, failing to qualify for the Indianapolis 500, then on to NASCAR. He raced 500+ races in his career, throughout the United States and briefly in Europe, with national wins in NASCAR.

To stop racing was his choice. He was no longer interested in just driving for a paycheck - he wanted to win. Racing required full dedication, and had a wife and newborn son. To give everything for an opportunity just to drive was not what he wanted - so he stepped out of the cockpit for good.

Walking away from that dream at 36 years old was not easy. He was lost, had no identity, passion, confidence or self-worth. This destructive belief harmed his relationships and self-esteem.

After leaving racing, he was offered an opportunity to work in the automotive marketing industry, re-invent himself, and build a new career. He was hired by AMCI at their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. He soon became Vice President of Operations, and now enjoys running the day to day operations for a global company.

Randy is a speaker on the art of leadership and challenging the status quo. His inspirational and creative messages combined with his dynamic story telling style make him a sought after corporate speaker.
