Laurel Newman

Laurel has a Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. She spent 12 years as a Psychology Professor, including 4 years as the department Chairperson, before shifting her focus to the application of psychological and behavioral science to business settings. Today, Laurel helps companies create environments that shape the behavior - and the broader experiences - of employees and customers. Her primary interests include motivation, behavioral modeling, and talking about herself in the third person.
