Dr. Islam Abdelbary is an economist and Associate Professor of Economics. Currently holding the position of Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Dr. Abdelbary also contributes his expertise as an Economic Consultant at the United Nations.

Dr. Abdelbary's distinguished career is marked by significant contributions to both academia and the practical applications of economics and research methodology. He has authored numerous books and research papers published in esteemed academic journals, solidifying his position as a leading voice in the field.

His track record of success is based on a strong educational background, and he obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of Plymouth in the UK. Besides award impressive array of academic diplomas and certificates in in statistics, econometrics, and research methodology from the University of Michigan, Plymouth University, Johns Hopkins University, University Pompeu Fabra, University of Cambridge, and University College London, and the American University in Cairo.
