Rick Jacobson

R. A. Jacobson is a Canadian novelist, artist, and storyteller whose work is haunted by old roads, forgotten towns, and the uneasy bargains people carry long after the deal is made.

Born in Saskatchewan and shaped by years of work both physical and creative, Jacobson writes fiction steeped in folklore, mortality, faith, regret, and the strange poetry of ordinary lives pushed into darkness.

His HARD PLACE stories weave together rural horror, noir, and myth into a growing world where memory lingers and every debt eventually comes due.

He lives and works in Toronto.
