James E Woods

James E. Woods is a bi-vocational pastor within the United Methodist Church. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University where he serves as a faculty member for the Certification in Spiritual Direction program. James is also the director of the Center for Transformative Prayer. He devotes multiple weeks each year living at the Cistercian-Trappist Assumption Abbey in Ava, Missouri. He lives with his family in McKinney, Texas.
