Kristin Baver

Kristin Baver has written several Star Wars books including the in-world biography Skywalker: A Family at War, the museum of the mind Star Wars 100 Objects, and the two-volume set on the making of the High Republic, The Art of Star Wars: The High Republic. She has also contributed to the nonfiction guides Star Wars Timelines and Star Wars: Year by Year and the fiction anthology Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - From a Certain Point of View. Her story, "Satisfaction," focused on the interior life of Sy Snootles.

Baver is the editor-in-chief of the official websites for Star Wars and Lucasfilm, covering Star Wars news and new releases as well as the Indiana Jones franchise. You may know her as the host of This Week! in Star Wars and The Star Wars Show Book Club and a frequent contributor to Star Wars Insider, the official magazine.

Before she became a card-carrying member of the Star Wars Fan Club -- really! -- she fell in love with space, the final frontier. She previously worked as journalist covering crime and social issues in central Pennsylvania, where she was an eight-time Keystone Press Award winner and the 2014 recipient of a Pennsylvania Associated Press Managing Editors Award for investigative reporting on the scourge of methamphetamine.

She lives with her tabby cat, Hector Smidget, in San Francisco.
