Milka Ignatova

I am Milka Ignatova - mother, speech language pathologist and poet. I was born in the southernmost and sunniest town in our country, the town of Petrich, Bulgaria. I don't come from the wealthiest family, but my parents have always told me to follow my dreams. And that's what I did. I studied at university for six years and became a speech language pathologist by profession. I work with joy in my field of expertise and it gives me pleasure doing so. I have been writing poems since I was a child and I decided to make another dream come true - to publish my own book. Having become a mother a year ago has encouraged me even more. And now, my first book is already a fact! It is a thematic children's book with poems and games supporting children's development. It presents the seasons in an accessible way that’s easy for children to learn.
