Mac Andres

Mackenzie Colten Andres Laughton (born September 23rd, 1997) is a Canadian poet, social scientist, writer, and best-selling author. He has served as the CEO of The Block Bard group of companies since 2019.

He has over 50 published historical poems available for free on the internet and is most noted for being one of the first people to take the Classics into the digital age with the creation of The World's Largest Free Online Classics Archive™, where the world's most famous texts have been taken and formatted for the everyday reader in daily social media posts.

Andres dropped out of William Aberhart high school in 2015. To him it made sense that the socialistic aspect of grade school should explain its laziness, but as soon as people began to pay out of pocket for uninspired unoriginal education he saw the value all of a sudden decrease extremely. He saw this as an incentive problem, combined with a lack of the liberal arts, and would dedicate the rest of his life to world-wide cultural education and the reformation of the education system, as well as helping others achieve their business goals through copywriting; a skill he picked up not long later in secret from a private group of people he met with every Friday evening from 6p.m.-10p.m. during the first few months of the pandemic.

After leaving college at SAIT Polytechnic, he served in a wide range of jobs, from lawn care technician and arborist, to non-profit salesman, door-to-door candidate and speech writer for the New Democrat Party of Canada, never staying in any for longer than was necessary to learn the skill he needed. It was in political campaigning Andres started studying political philosophy. After about a year of which he found himself writing his first paid pieces for University students and the like, which would not long after lead to writing for private businesses. These would soon go on to make Andres a full time writer, employing and collaborating with several other creators within 6 months, and within 18 months, selling +10,000 copies of his first "self-published" mini book:

"A Simple But Effective Strategy For Success" which also hit number one in Amazon leadership and stayed there for 6 weeks in a row in 2021.
