Ricard Huerta is artist and Full Professor of Art Education at the University of Valencia. Researcher at the Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations. Head of EARI Artistic Education Research Magazine www.revistaeari.org Head of the Master Degree in Art Education and Museum Management. Director of Museari www.museari.com Doctor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music, Fine Arts and Communication. Coordinator of the CREARI Group for Research in Cultural Pedagogies (GIUV2013-103) www.uv.es/creari Full Professor at the Facultat de Magisteri. He has participated as a researcher in national and international projects. Visiting researcher at universities in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Cuba, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia and Chile, as well as at the universities of Girona, Lleida, Complutense de Madrid, UIB, Zaragoza and Santiago de Compostela.

His recent books include Museo tipográfico urbano, Maestros y museos: educar desde la invisibilidad, Ciudadana letra, Mujeres maestras: identidades docentes en Iberoamérica, Paternidades creativas, La ciudad y sus docentes: miradas desde el arte y la educación, Transeducar, Arte para primaria, Arte género y diseño en educación digital, La imagen como experiencia, and articles in specialized journals, having coordinated publications within the field of art, education, training teacher, heritage and museums. Letters and alphabets are a relevant aspect of his work at an educational and artistic level. As a visual artist, he has presented painting and engraving exhibitions with themes very impregnated by typography and calligraphies (Alfabet del Tirant, Alfabet del de Jesucrist, Alfabet del d'Alexandre, Alfabet del de les Ciutats, HomoAlphabet), proposals which incorporates photography, painting, drawing, engraving and video. His exhibitions of the artistic research Women Teachers have been seen in museums in ten countries. He has been director of ten international seminars on artistic research and five international conferences.
