M. Stow

Born in Walthamstow, Essex, England, I have written poems and short fiction from an early age and I am now publishing the result of that lifetimes practice. As you read, or listen to my work, and see now added graphics to illustrate the text, these are comic renditions of profound human agency, in that there are some laughs, in life, if you get them, if not, hard luck, try again.

My epic dramatic graphic proem: EarthCentre: The End of The Universe: Universal Verses (first episode The Universal Skull) is re-published 2023 with updated references philosophical and scientific notes and photo-illustrations and is available from all good book stores and e-publishers.

WarFair4: a three-part novel reviewing the economic banking and credit crunch crisis of the first decades of the 21st century of Global Economic-Political turmoil through the perspective of a Clerk and Banker meeting on a train on The Day the Markets Stood Still. Into The Abyss, follows Rogue Citizen, to become Global Citizen, and then Den(i)Zen to scan forward into a pragmatic, everyday democratic, and technological future, through inter-personal dialogue, dialectic, video gameplay and journalistic diagnosis of real historical, and futuristic events recounted online, from across the globe.

Ancient Stories & Modern Proem (or Meme) is a new collection of youthful and now older accounts of life and world perspectives through the windows of political and personal history and modern existential emotional moral philosophy (Murdoch, Midgeley, Beauvoir) and the notions of choice and freewill, human rights and responsibilities.
