Judy Wolfson-Davies was born in Cardiff. On leaving high school she taught at primary level for a year, before going abroad on an International Youth Leaders course. Having qualified as a Youth Leader at Westhill Training College (Birmingham University), obtaining a Distinction, she was then employed as a full time leader of a London youth club.
Judy was also the Director of XUK Children's Holiday Activities, Adlib Drama Workshop, a Children's Party Agency and Poolside Manor Swimming School in North London (which she and her husband designed and built). She was a founder member of the British Activity Holiday Association, was an ‘Adult and Youth’ magistrate for ten years and is a member of Equity. She still teaches First Aid in schools to teachers and children.
During much of this substantial career of working with children, Judy has also been a semi-professional lyricist/playwright and has written and produced musicals for TV, theatre, charities and youth organisations.
Judy is married with two children and two grandchildren.
