Jon Silver

Jon Silver was born on November 10, 1986 as Jonathan Silva. He grew up in a sunny city called Lagos in the South of Portugal. Jon Silver uses this shorter, anglicized version of his name as a professional alias and as his pen name or nom de plume by which he signs his books.

Jon is an investor, economist, business manager and advisor for multinational companies, public entities and individuals. In the early days of his career as a financial professional, Jon held numerous roles in Banking and Finance, he worked for several years in major Financial hubs, such as London and Frankfurt, working with Central Banks, Hedge Funds and Large Multinational Corporations in different industries and countries before launching his own private investment company. Jon started to participate in the World Cup Trading Championships and during the many years that Jon took part, he frequently figured on the top 5 traders while this global competition was on-going.

Jon, as an investor, quickly achieved remarkable returns in a very short period of time. Jon made most of his returns by trading mainly futures in the financial markets developing a successful "black swan hunting" strategy. After achieving relative success in the financial markets, Jon decided to create a trading club, www.tradingpros.club, to provide resources to help others achieve their financial success too.
