Karen Glen

Karen Glen started writing poetry at the age of 16 and is now 56 so this book represents 40 years of her work. She has a modern approach to writing and this helps her poetry flow to the reader. All subjects are covered with passion and the imagery of her poetry is vivid, often with a twist to take the reader by surprise. Karen Has been to 36 countries and lived in 5 of them so her work has been influenced internationally which is hinted at through out the book. She named the book My Friends as all of her poetry has impacted upon her life in some way so this collection has more than just a hint of an autobiographical project.

Karen Is married and is a former Company Director and International Athlete (For Scotland and the UK), and has now moved back to her country of birth...Scotland where she has had more time to concentrate on her poetry.
