Before marriage, motherhood and immigration, I taught English literature in South Africa. For the past 21 years I have lived in a little blue cottage in Eagle Harbour, Canada, where I collect rocks, feed squirrels and walk barefoot whenever I can, even though it embarrasses my family. A certified coach and guided autobiography facilitator, with a master's in psychology, I work with individuals, teams and organisations and my greatest thrill is witnessing people uncover the magic in their stories. Because I believe in the power of community and belonging, I proudly serve on the North Shore Immigrant Advisory Council and the Board of Directors for the North Shore Restorative Justice Society. I am tickled pink to have received the 2018 West Van Citizen of the Year Award. www.lindypfeil.com
