Olga trained in theater arts at the Drama Studio in West Ealing, London, for 2 years from 1969-71. Upon returning to the States, she settled in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire and became involved in community and summer theater acting, producing, and directing for the next 19 years.
In 1990 she was hired by the Conway Public Library as program coordinator for children and adults and eventually took over Public Relations for the library, as well. Author Dan Brown spoke 3 times (before "Da Vinci Code"), as well as Jodi Picoult and Lisa Gardner. During her 24 years of employment at the library Olga created a weekly column called "The Library Connection" and wrote literally hundreds of press releases and grant proposals. As a storyteller she adapted classics and wrote original stories, visiting area schools and venues in addition to appearing as a featured teller at the New England Storytelling Festival "Sharing the Fire" and the annual NH Storytelling Conference. Olga facilitated the White Mountain Writers Group (initiated at the Conway Library). The group published an anthology of short pieces written by the members called "The Literary Tourist." Two of her pieces are in the book. The Vagabond Trilogy is her first work of historical fiction. Book 1 was published in 2017and was named Book of the Week from the Center for the Book at the NH State Library that August. It also was a finalist in the Independent Publishers of New England annual writing contest in 2018. Book 3 is in the works. Olga lives in the White Mountains with her husband Steve.
