Graham began writing books in January 2020 whilst working in the mental health arena. He was made redundant in November of that year after 21 years of service during the COVID-19 pandemic. A bit of a shock to the system. However, this gave him the added impetus to work on his first book and the time needed to complete it.
The author has now written three books. The latest book on 'Hope in a fragile world' consists of 40 short essays. This is a departure from the format of the first two books. The reader can explore the concept of hope over 40 days or more with a range of diverse world views from well known people, and some not so well known; believers, unbelievers, atheists, agnostics and sceptics are included. The author invites the reader, whatever their view point, to explore and then decide; is the hope presented tenable and believable or it is a Humpty Dumpty one. you will meet Humpty at the beginning of the book to set out the context and the challenges to the reader. There is a clue in the front cover.
Graham qualifications and experience are in the fields of psychotherapy, psychology and theology and he served in pastoral ministry for 15 years prior to moving into a career in the mental health field. Since being made redundant he has gained employment as a mental health Change Manager.
