William O. Selig PsyD MFA

Dr. William Selig is a clinical psychologist practicing in the Bay Area. He earned his doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, writing his dissertation on bipolar disorder and creativity at Stanford University’s Bipolar Disorders Clinic. He co-led a 2014 revision of the Psychotherapy for Bipolar Disorder treatment track at Kaiser-Permanente Oakland Adult Psychiatry, where he later co-founded the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program. Before becoming a psychologist, Dr. Selig worked for over a decade as a stage director, producer, and actor in New York, Boston, and the Bay Area. Dr. Selig holds an MFA in stage directing from the Moscow Art Theater School/Harvard University and a BA from Harvard College
