Amber Waheed

Amber Waheed’s life mission is to protect fellow expats in Dubai against fraud. She is the author of The Great Fraud Fightback, where she shares her story of winning a landmark court case after losing my life savings to an unlicensed financial advisor. She is spreading awareness to help others learn from her experience through her podcast, Expats in Dubai, through public speaking appearances and commentary on major media outlets.

As a Specialized Professional Coach, Waheed also helps high-impact expat lawyers and law firms streamline their businesses and maximize revenues, providing another trusted resource for expats.

Waheed founded the online network, WizBizLa, to connect expats in Dubai with vetted, licensed service providers. This website offers resources such as blogs, podcasts, online education courses, events and exclusive F&B offers.

Amber is from Cheshire, in the north west of England. The youngest of three children, she studied law at the University of Birmingham, and started her career in the head office at The Savoy Group of Luxury Hotels in London before moving overseas to Dubai. A board member of the Emaar Owners Association and a campaign team leader for local charity Adopt-a-Camp, she raises funds, events, assistance and sponsorship for the laborer's in Dubai.
