Justin Vazquez

The author is a lapsed lawyer turned folk-art historian and writer living in Bavaria. Before moving to the foothills of the Alps, he had a very square job in one of those very square states out West: he was a prosecutor in Colorado. Justin Vazquez has attempted to follow in the footsteps of Franz Joseph Bronner, who, 100 years earlier, armed with a camera and a notebook, set out to catalogue every Lüftlmalerei in the area around Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
