Quinisha K. Jackson-Wright

Quinisha K. Jackson-Wright is an author, freelance journalist, and blogger who covers finance and careers from the lens of a millennial Black woman. Quinisha founded the website Money the Wright Way in 2017 to share her experience of learning about personal finance and to speak about the systemic barriers to reaching financial independence for Black women.

Through promoting her website and brand, Quinisha gained recognition as an authority in the finance space and has since landed writer bylines in The New York Times, Business Insider, Forge by Medium, ZORA by Medium, The Muse, USA Today, The Financial Diet, and more.

She is a regular contributor to major brands like Verizon, Chime, Charlie Finance, and DollarSprout. Quinisha has spoken as a panelist for organizations including The Author’s Guild and Elevate Money, and is featured as a subject matter expert for Chime, Come Write With Us, and Make a Living Writing. She was a finalist in the 11th Annual Plutus Awards Category for Best Personal Finance Content for Underserved Communities.

Prior to her career as a freelance writer, Quinisha completed five years of active duty military service and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 2016. She works and lives in Santa Barbara, California.
