Fred Hughes

Fred Hughes is the Founder & CEO of Phoenix Technology Solutions LLC,

one of the leading IT service companies in the Phoenix area. With over 30

years of experience providing both technical solutions and services to meet

challenging business needs, he has the gift of listening to Client challenges

and transforming them into technical solutions.

In 1989, Fred started as a lowly Accounts Payable clerk working for an oil

company that was the largest distributor of Exxon products in the world. He

quickly moved up the ranks to the computer system manager. Learning the

system inside and out, he went on to work for the custom software

company that developed specialized software for the petroleum industry.

This was an opportunity for him to travel all over the United States

implementing the custom software in oil companies across the country,

working with CEO’s, CFO’s, and staff on how to best use the software for

their company. It was also very valuable training in dealing with all sorts of company cultures.

After several IT Director roles at various companies in Arizona, Fred launched Phoenix Technology Solutions in

2017. Phoenix Technology Solutions has been focusing on the cybersecurity aspect in client businesses

and helping companies manage their risk when it comes to technology.
