Emma Sumlin

Emma Sumlin has been writing intentionally since 2013 in various ways such as poems, screenplays, novels, and short stories. She has won awards for her work such as Best In Fiction and Best in Poetry at the DOXA Literary Contest two consecutive years in a row. She attends college at Dallas Baptist University with a focus in English Literature and a Minor in Communications. As well, she has worked for Kingdom Story Company on the storytelling team, which added greatly to her experience in writing and reviewing screenplays. She plans to pursue a career in storytelling of some form, whether in acting or writing professionally.
