Johnny McGrew

Johnny McGrew has over 10 years of law enforcement experience. During his time in law enforcement he encountered many African American males who were exposed to the criminal justice system because of the trappings of life. Johnny was also a therapeutic foster parent for over 15 years in the State of Alaska. As a foster parent Johnny mentored and guided young men who were from single parent homes.

Johnny wrote “The Destruction of The Black Man” because he wants people from all walks of life to understand how living a shortsighted life could lead to destruction and unfulfillment. Johnny’s belief is that African Americans must begin to trust in God and not in the everyday trappings of this world.
