Tanisha J. Ray is a licensed substance abuse counselor with a background in education. A North Carolina native, she enjoyed working with children and adolescents before facilitating groups within an AZ state prison. Even though Tanisha’s a lover of good food, she’s a horrible cook, which is fine, because there is always cereal!
Tanisha loves storytelling, adores children, and advocates for families. So, she decided to write juvenile fiction that promotes positive family values with reaffirming messages of resilience, tolerance, and compassion.
Tanisha’s life purpose is to use the medium of storytelling to empower and inspire humanity, especially underrepresented population groups.
