Ashley Amber

Ashley Amber considers herself a "sometimes author, sometimes dancer," best known for her writing with Collider and MJ's Big Blog.

In 2021, Ashley self-published her first novelette, The Flip Side of Sad, about a famous popstar who gets stuck inside his album and must learn the lessons behind his lyrics with the help of an angel-like spirit in this fantasy/romance take on A Christmas Carol. After high demand from readers for a sequel and a night in front of the computer with the movie Groundhog Day playing as background noise, her next book, The Flip Side of Love, was born. Ashley credits her love of Back to the Future as some of the inspiration behind the book, even including a couple of nods to the movie in the story.

You can find more of Ashley's writing in anthologies, including her poetry debut in the LGBTQIA+ anthology Deviant: Chronicles of Pride, where Ashley tackles the struggles of asexuality in a poem titled "Ace of Hearts." Ashley also has an upcoming piece the LGBTQIA+ anthology Collective Humanity from Collective Tales Publishing.

As a dancer since she was 11 years old, Ashley can also be found choreographing dance routines and hosting dance tutorials across Youtube, TikTok and Instagram. A former competitive ballroom dancer, Ashley hopes to one day dance in musicals and theater shows.

Ashley is currently searching for literary representation and traditional publishing for her LGBTQIA+ New Adult romcom book series.
