The Design Mechanism (TDM) was formed in 2010 by Lawrence Whitaker and Pete Nash. The company is based in Ontario, Canada, but enjoys worldwide partnerships with writers, artists, editors and designers. TDM produces the Mythras roleplaying game, which has enjoyed critical acclaim since its release, and a steady range of supplements has increased the line to over 30 titles.
