David Holmes

David Holmes (aka DS Holmes) writes stories that take readers to different times and places in tales of mystery and love, such as in wartime Germany, 1941, in The Book Finder, and Vietnam, 1954, in The Girl from Perfume River. After UC Berkeley, the author worked in SE Asia, served in the Army, and was a therapist. He now hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park and walks his dog. With an affection for animals, he has written A is for Alsatian, C is for Chihuahua, D is for Dog, F is for French Bulldog and other dog tales. There's also an espionage story, Escape from North Korea: The Spy of Seoul, and a WWII mystery/thriller, Stella by Star Light, a follow-up to The Book Finder ( which forms The Berlin Trilogy). And don’t forget to read a supernatural thriller, The Vampire Trilogy, a newly-edited version of the novellas on ghosts, vampires, shapeshifters and angels in Seattle, San Francisco and L.A. For lovers of International Mystery and Crime novels, there is Murder in Morocco and, also, the just out follow-up to that title, Little Doctor of Casablanca.
