Eshe Benson

Eshe Benson, aka Dr. Juster Waweru, aka Kangai Benson is a poet, author, and entrepreneur on a lifelong mission to inspire, empower, uplift, and entertain people through the power of storytelling. She also strives to shift rigid perspectives and paradigms that no longer serve humanity. 

Hailing from a tiny Kenyan village where a good education was only possible for a few privileged villagers, Dr. Waweru refused to let the odds that were stacked up against her stand in her way. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree, two Master's degrees, a Doctorate, and two post-graduate diplomas! On top of all her hard work in the academic arena, she merged her passion for empowerment with fiction and non-fiction writing and created four books: “The Sun and Her Rising”, Thorns in Her Flesh", "Salt and Gravity", and "Leading From Overflow."

When she isn't pouring her heart out onto paper, Dr. Waweru loves travelling, dancing, and cooking.
