Qwen Lewis

Qwen Lewis was born in 1985 on a spring March morning. Her given name is Qwentilia. She was born and raised in Sumter, SC. She attended Francis Marion University where she majored in Elementary Education. She went on to have a daughter named Emani in October of 2008. Her daughter, nieces and nephews are the sole inspiration of her children's books. Qwen believes that children's books should be both entertaining and inspirational to a child. Waffles Can't Dance is about a young waffle who didn't believe that he could do something. Once he let his guard down and was himself, everything worked out in his favor.
