Dr. Cristyn Watkins is from Kansas City, MO, attended The University of Kansas for her Human Biology Bachelor degree, and completed her medical training in New York City and New Jersey. Dr. Watkins is board certified in Family Medicine and was Chief Resident and Most Honored Resident of Family Medicine at her training program. She is already certified and is pursuing her Fellowship in Integrative, Metabolic, and Nutrition Medicine with the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of George Washington University. She focuses her entire practice on advanced medical aesthetics, regenerative medicine, healthy aging and personalized wellness medicine. She is the owner and visionary of aNu AestheticsTM and Optimal Wellness, is involved in every aspect of the practice, and works along side her expert medical and aesthetics staff.

She is a certified Master Injector by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Neurotoxin, Cosmetic Fillers, and Chemical Peels. She enjoys patient consultations, allowing her to discuss all of the aesthetic options with her patients, and performing aesthetic injectables to allow the natural transformation her patients desire. She truly enjoys helping others achieve their desired appearance.

Dr. Watkins is trained in Bio-Identical Hormones, Medical Weight Loss and Functional/Metabolic/Nutrition Medicine. She has a passion for patient wellness and healthy aging and has a desire for all patients to achieve this lifestyle. She has treated diabetes, heart disease, thyroid conditions, menstrual and hormone conditions for almost a decade. She has been treating obesity and hormone related issues to overcome these conditions and has been very successful at helping patients achieve a healthier, happier and slimmer self!

She also has a huge passion for Regenerative Medicine and focuses a lot of her recent research and practice on advanced therapies such as Exosomes, Ozone, PRP, Peptides and IV Nutritional Therapy. She is a National Regenerative Medicine Trainer for Nurse Practitioners with RegenEd and is a proud owner of Regenerative Treatment Centers of Leawood.

She individually customizes aesthetic, hormone, wellness and weight loss programs for each of her patients to achieve success and happiness in their external and internal wellness and beauty. She feels very blessed to have this as a career and is passionate about teaching patients how to “live well” and thrive in the midst of this complex society of stress/fatigue and chronic illness.

She is a native of Kansas City and lives there with her husband and 3 young children – Miles, Madalynn and Macy (twins!). Her passions outside of aNu are her family and friends and enjoys travel, cooking, and the great outdoors!

Dr. Cristyn Watkins is an active member of The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), The Metabolic Medical Institute, The Institute for Functional Medicine, The American Med Spa Association (AmSpa), and The American Academy of Family Physicians.
