Amy B. Quinn

Hello and welcome! Amy B. Quinn is the author of the newly released book, You Are My World!, published by Carriage Barn Books. Amy has always enjoyed writing, and has especially embraced poetry as a way to express herself. Amy's passion for writing stems from her grandmother who wrote countless poems about her and her family's lives, often encompassing their experiences as a military family. Amy loved to read her grandmother's poetry and found herself inspired to also write about those she loved in a creative way, which she has been doing since she was young. When Amy needs clarity or inspiration in life, she will still pull out her grandmother's writings to guide and motivate her!

In her full-time career, Amy is an oncology nurse of 30 years. She affirms that she has had the honor and fortune of witnessing amazing strength, resiliency, beauty and love through the highs and lows of the patient and family cancer experience. This has afforded her a unique perspective in life and has solidified a true appreciation for loved ones, motivating her to write poetry from the heart and mind that fills the soul!

It was in recent years that her family encouraged her to publish her works, for which we are grateful to be able to share.
