Samuel Wayne West is a sought-after motivational speaker and educator. He worked in full-time ministry in a variety of roles including Daycare Director, Principal (K-8 Academy), Pastoral Coach/Trainer, Assistant Pastor and Senior Associate Pastor before entering the academic arena. During his twenty plus years as an educator, he has served as an administrator at the pre-school, elementary, middle and high school levels across private, charter and public-school settings.

He currently serves as a school administrator and principal coach for a school district in the metro Atlanta area. West was a 2010 – 2011 district finalist for teacher of the year, named principal of the year for the 2017-2018 school year and was again named a district finalist for principal of the year for the 2018-2019 school year.
