Eberhard Malwitz

Born in 1938 in Stettin / Pomerania

In Darmstadt since 1970

1960 to 1963 studied general mechanical engineering in Munich to obtain a degree in engineering (FH).

From 1965 to 2000 in basic physical research, most recently chief designer at the GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt.

Since 1965 active as a visual artist and writer parallel to his job.

Since 2002 member of the BBK-Darmstadt.

Professionally, papers on particle accelerators and critical short stories arise.

In 2003 the book “Donnerkeile” appeared, childhood memories from Pomerania with Stettin and Rügen with 44 drawings.

There are essays, short stories and art books with original drawings.

Since 2008 member of the South Hessian literature group POSEIDON.

2014 crime thriller and science thriller "Neckarstrahl".

2017 initiator, co-editor and co-author of a book project by physicists and writers: “From Targetrad to Quill”.
