Shiv Mehta

I started writing the book while studying for my MBA at NYU Stern School of Business, researching on Blockchain Technology, Digital Currencies, and the Future of Finance.

I conducted my research while living in New York City, which coincided with the most disruptive event the world ever faced since World War II – the Global Pandemic of 2020 caused by COVID-19.

Having worked in the financial services industry for 8 years and observing the unprecedented chaos financial markets and the people on main street were witnessing at a level not seen since the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2008, it became imperative for me to release part of my research as a primer on history and evolution of money to increase the awareness of financial and economic literacy among the people.

This is the first of a series of books aimed at enlightening people on money and where the future of it is heading.
