Living in Missouri most of my life, I was bitten by the travel bug early on by family trips to other places. My mom and dad would take their six kids on yearly vacations. By the time I started college I had visited a dozen different states as well as Canada. I didn't want to just read about interesting destinations, I wanted to go see them. Before I even turned 20, I spent a summer working and playing in Europe and was able to tour a dozen different countries. Experiencing other cultures and learning the history kept me wanting more.

Although I never thought of myself as a writer, I always journaled when vacationing and would keep these notebooks since I'm somewhat of a packrat. After my kids were grown and gone, with more time on my hands, I decided to write a book about my journeys. These adventure memoirs are true stories that are fun, educational, and personal.
