Daniel Hess

Daniel Hess was born and raised in Sparrows Point, Maryland. He is the oldest of three, with two younger sisters. Growing up he lost his best friend/cousin to Cystic Fibrosis. From that moment writing became one of the main pillars of his life. Daniel went to college at Towson University where he studied film, graduating in 2012. He went on to have a career in videography, while keeping his knack for writing going. After many years of wanting to work on more creative projects 2019 began a massive rekindling of focusing on the goals set in Daniel’s youth. Daniel’s first book “Just a Boy Blaming Himself,” is a collection of over five years of personal poetry. Currently Daniel is working on getting a few feature films into production as well as launching his first novel "Focus Puller," in June of 2022.
