Eleonor Forte is a boutique portrait photographer located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. Her friends call her “Elle” hence the name of her studio, Elle Forte Photography.
Eleonor studied finance at Indiana University and received an MBA in marketing from DePaul University. She worked for 12 years in the corporate world as a financial analyst. Although she enjoyed her job, she longed for something more. Her entrepreneurial business mind eventually merged with her creative spirit and love of photography, which led her to her ultimate career. Her favorite quote is from George Eliot: “It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
In April 2020 Eleonor became a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) for her artistic and technical competence as awarded by Professional Photographers of America (PPA). PPA currently recognizes fewer than 2,500 CPPs. She is also an Accredited Portrait Master Associate and is widely recognized as one of the premiere portrait photographers in the Chicagoland area.
Eleonor loves to empower women by helping them look and feel their best through her photography. She aims to bring out the inner beauty, poise, and confidence that exist in all women.
Married to her college sweetheart for 26 years, Elle is also a dedicated mom of four boys. She loves coffee, wine, and chocolate although not necessarily in that order. She is a romantic at heart and will cry about almost anything that touches her heart.
