Dana Spears has been an educator for 32 years. She loves literature and creating new stories for all her students. She was awarded Teacher of the Year, Spot Light Teacher, and given the First Kids Award twice. She wrote and won three educational grants. She will be the first to tell you that she has amazing students and they inspire her every day. She has always wanted to write books that engage kids in learning. She wants them to be able to make a connection and love what they read. As a teacher, she uses her books as teaching tools.
