Heather Denniss

I decided in second grade to become a writer, but it took a long time getting there. I wrote my first book, in longhand, my sophomore year in high school, but it was just an exercise in handwriting. I finally graduated college in 1992 and went to work in newspapers, and I've been employed at my hometown newspaper since 1994. Yes, I am a senior citizen, bur I'm too young to retire. I don't do anything cool like uncover corruption in government, but I do write features and news features on occasion, lay out pages, and write prize-winning headlines once in a while, normal, everyday headlines most of the time. I have other novels in various stages of development, but Sherman stole my heart.. I hope you enjoy it.
